Physical Properties of Snow White Agate 

Agate, part of the Quartz family, Hardness 7 though can be brittle, part of the chalcedony family, it usually has fine banding.

Agate is a very versatile material, it has been used to adorn the body since the days of the Egyptians as well as being used as talismans, seals and early earthenware. 

Snow Agate is special, it is the purest colour of all agates, you find it in few localities around the world. All of our material is untreated and comes from Indonesia.
