What is Mookaite?

Mookaite is a Jasper, a polycrystalline quartz, it has over 50% silicon in its make up and is classed as a procelanite. This gives it the texture, lustre and conchoidal fracture of porcelain.

This material is found only found in Western Australia in the outskirts of Mooka Creek, about 600 miles north of Perth, hence the name Mookaite. An Aboriginal Mother Earth stone, the word “Mooka” refers to “running waters,” found in the natural springs around its locality.

Mookaite Healing Properties 

Mookaite is a stone for creativity and connection. Found most often in reddish-brown, brown, yellow and mauve. It's fudge-y appearance brings calm and a feeling of wholeness, like being grounded to the earth of which is came.

Works with the Solar Plexus and Root chakra to promote positivity, accept change and encourages us to be more flexible. It does this by invoking positivity into new situations and helping you release stagnant emotions that may be creating upset surrounding these challenges.
