What is Pink Amethyst? (Facts about Pink Amethyst) 💕

Amethyst is part of the Quartz family, usually a mix of polycrystalline and monocrystalline quartzes, in shades of pink.

First found in Patagonia, Argentina this new find of Amethyst has been found in few locations, all of which are along the same coast of South America. Our stunning Pink Amethyst has been ethically sourced from Brazil, in the Minas Gerais region, where many incredible crystals have grown over millions of years, some of the finest gemstones in the world are found here.

Pink Amethyst is coloured by large concentrations of hematite, an aggregate of iron, which colours our Purple Amethysts. This is why you are able to get both colours in the same raw material, as seen here and some of our other special pieces.
